Fuel EX 5 is an aluminum trail bike built for total versatility wherever you ride. It comes with a RockShox Recon Silver fork and X-Fusion Pro 2 rear shock, tubeless-ready wheels, a 12-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, and a TranzX dropper post, so you're ready for anything.

  • Adjustable Leverage Rate

    Tweak your leverage rate with the flip of a chip. Go less progressive for a plusher feel when you’re deep in the travel or more progressive for big features, more bottom out resistance, or running a coil shock.

  • Zero Stack Integrated Headset

    New zero stack standard headset, allows for more aftermarket options, like angle-adjust headsets or tricked-out colors.

  • Storage and Accessory Mounts

    Stash ride essentials with in-frame storage on all Fuel models — both carbon and alloy. Plus, top tube accessory mounts let you load up even more.

  • Active Braking Pivot

    Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.

  • Transition to Transmission

    SRAM Eagle T-Type transmission mounts directly to the frame, skipping that pesky derailleur hanger of yesteryear. This makes for a more robust system that's not only cleaner looking, it's also more precise under load, and easier to set up.
