    MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is a helmet technology designed to reduce rotational forces on the brain during angled impacts. It features a low-friction layer inside the helmet that allows it to slide relative to the head, mimicking the brain’s natural protective mechanisms. This slip-plane system helps dissipate rotational motion, reducing the risk of brain injuries. MIPS can be integrated into various helmet types, including those for cycling, skiing, and other sports.

Since all this protection is useless if you don™t want to wear it, we dialed up the comfort level with a microadjustable BOA™ 360 Fit System that adapts to your whole head. A sweat-wicking, odor-fighting liner keeps you warm, while a front and rear adjustable 24-vent design lets you regulate airflow as needed.
