Shaped for freedom and flexibility, the VPD Air Vest offers protection balanced with absolute comfort. Ideal for all-mountain use, the lightweight protector balances protection that meets EN1621-2, Level 1 standards with exceptional freedom of movement in every direction and a very open structure that allows for maximum airflow, allowing body heat to escape easily.

The backplate is constructed in a honeycomb-like structure, taking inspiration from nature to provide strength and protection while keeping weight as low as possible. Its low weight helps to ensure the protector stays in the right place against your back without needing to be held in place by a waistband. As with all VPD protectors, the backplate warms to your body and follows your contours as you move, offering ultimate freedom of movement. The close-fitting garment offers a clean silhouette and is perforated all over to give optimal breathability and so heat can escape, ensuring you can move freely and in comfort every time you enjoy the mountains.
