The Atomic Icon RS 12 binding is inspired by the pro-level World Cup binding but built with younger, lighter racers needing DIN levels 4-12 in mind. It utilizes Icon?s Centralized Power Transfer system, which puts the binding interface directly below the boot, and customizes it for the next generation of ski racers, giving them the tools they need for the utmost control and responsiveness in their skis. Power and durability come from steel and fiberglass binding construction and a Metal Race Pedal that lets the boot sole sit directly on the AFD plate for uninterrupted power transfer to the ski. The brakes are strategically positioned tight to the heelpiece, enabling the skier to drive the turn and get the skis on edge more efficiently. This binding is also T?V-certified.
