TRY BEFORE YOU BUY: Apply 100% of the money spent on your rental toward the purchase of any brand new bike for up to 30 days of the rental date.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION: Rentals are charged by the day or half day, not by the hour. All rentals are to be picked up and returned to the pick-up location within our open hours. 

In case of cancellations, as a courtesy, please cancel your booking within 24 hours before pick up of your scheduled rental. Canceling within less than 24 hours will be subject to penalty equating to a percentage of your rental booking.

PRE-AUTHORIZATION:  A credit card pre-authorization is required at the discretion of Skiis & Biikes. The pre-authorization will be canceled when the e-bike and accessories are returned undamaged.

BIKE RACK: If you require a bike rack to transport your bike rental, please book it through our booking system.Bike rack rentals are $99/day and 100% of the money spent on your bike rack rental can go toward the purchase of any brand new e-bike for up to 30 days of the demo date.

BICYCLE MAINTENANCE: The Participant is responsible for keeping the bike in good condition during the rental period. The renter shall not make any alterations, modifications or repairs to the bike.

LOSS OR THEFT: The Participant is responsible for the bicycle during the rental period. In the event of loss or theft, the Participant shall be liable for the cost of replacement or repair of the bicycle, as determined by Skiis & Biikes. If the renter is under 18 years of age, the guardian is responsible.

Bikes left outside have a high risk of being stolen for which the Participant will be liable. 

ACCESSORIES: Every rental bike comes with a helmet, lights, bell, and lock included in the daily rental fee. If one or more of these items is not required, it will be noted on the Participant’s rental agreement. The Participant is responsible for returning these items in undamaged and clean condition. If these items are returned in damaged or unusable condition then the Participant shall be liable for the cost of replacement, as determined by Skiis & Biikes. The renter is encouraged to use these accessories while using the bike. 

INSPECTION OF EQUIPMENT: All bikes are inspected before they are sent out for rental and it is the Participant's responsibility to take care of the equipment and clean it after use.

The Skiis & Biikes service shop will inspect the rental equipment upon return and if they deem the equipment in need of either heavy cleaning, repair or even being beyond repair, the Participant will be charged accordingly.

LIABILITY WAIVER: The Participant acknowledges that using an electric bike carries inherent risks, and the Participant assumes all responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur during the rental period. The Participant will be required to sign a waiver.

If the participant is not 18 years old or older, then a guardian will have to be present at the time of pickup and must sign the waiver.
