Kids Half Back Program

We can appreciate it’s expensive keeping growing kids involved with sport. Our Kid’s Half Back Program gives parents the opportunity to return the skis, snowboards, ski boots, snowboard boots, or bikes their kids have outgrown in exchange for store credit towards new gear that fits. 

How it works:

Buy new or used junior skis, boots, or bikes from Skiis & Biikes. Enjoy some fun on the slopes and trails. If your child outgrows their equipment, bring the gear back to us for a store credit. If you have only used the gear for one season you will get half of what you originally paid back as a store credit. If you used the gear for two seasons or more, you will get a quarter of what you originally paid back as a store credit.

Can I get store credit for gear I bought at a different store?

Yes! Junior skis, snowboards, boots, and bikes, bought elsewhere can be returned for store credit. We accept brands that are the same as the ones we sell or similar quality. Our team will determine the credit amount based on the condition and quality of the gear. We do not accept Tecnopro gear. 

What condition does the gear have to be in?

All returning equipment must be in reusable condition. If skis/boots being returned have been worn/used for many years but are not damaged, we offer $20 for skis and $10 for boots toward new or used equipment. This returned equipment with be disposed of and not resold.

My kid uses adult sized gear, do they qualify for the Kids Half Back Program?

We only accept junior sized skis, ski boots, snowboards, snowboard boots, and bikes. Adult sized equipment does not qualify even when used by a kid.

Do I have to keep my receipts to get my credit when I return gear the next season?

Nope! We will keep all your transactions in our system and can look them up at any time to see what you paid for the gear you are returning.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No, just stop by any of our locations. Weekends in December can be very busy in our Kids department so we recommend coming on weekdays and starting early in October or November.

Return Policy

Refund new and unworn merchandise within 30 days of the purchase date at any of our store locations or through an online return. Products purchased at a discount of 49% off or more are Final Sale and are ineligible for return or exchange. Items can be returned either in store or online for an in store credit within 31-60 days of purchase. Not all items are eligble for a return, or exchange, please read our full return policy for more details.

All original hangtags, and accessories must be attached to the garment, and each product is subject to inspection. 

Please note that we cannot accept returns for products where bindings have been mounted or drilled into skis. Once bindings have been mounted or drilled, the item is considered non-returnable.

Items purchased in store can only be returned in store. For online orders, we deduct $10 from your refund, and $40 for any ski or snowboard returns. You may also return your online order in store to avoid the restocking fee.

By placing an online order with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this policy regarding the return policy, late shipments, delivery estimates, and shipping costs.

We want to make sure you get your gear as fast as possible.
You order will be processed within24 - 48hrs, but sometimes part of your order may be coming from another store. In cases like this, transfers may take up to4 business daysto complete depending on origin store.
Providing a phone number at check out helps us notify you when the order is ready.
